Cherry Bombe is a food media company dedicated to sharing women’s stories in the food world, with a significant and engaged audience, especially on Instagram. We partnered as they were launching their new brand partnerships division and receiving requests for high-quality, authentic long and short-form branded video content.

Where they started

Cherry Bombe was receiving exciting, high-value brand partnership requests but lacked in-house video production expertise, creating an immediate roadblock. They initially sought out established, full-scale production companies, only to be quoted six-figure budgets and project timelines that stretched for months. This meant they were at risk of losing crucial new business and feeling pressure to deliver world-class productions with a flexible, entrepreneurial speed and budget that traditional companies simply could not meet.

Strategy

The gap was clear. They needed agency level creative consultation and production quality without the massive overhead. I acted as a white-label creative director and production consultant, filling their in-house video expertise gap.My strategy was to create a lean, tailored production plan for each brand partnership, giving the Cherry Bombe team creative direction on concepts and scripts before shooting. This allowed us to maintain the integrity of the Cherry Bombe brand while operating with the speed and budget of a small team.

Results

With my approach we successfully delivered 5 complex projects in 6 months, executing all brand productions in less than one month from concept to delivery. Projects we completed saw organic viewership of up to 300K, providing immense value for their partners. As a result, the Cherry Bombe partnerships team finally felt confident and equipped to scale their new division, knowing they had a high-quality, rapid-turnaround production solution.
